Chocolate Sandstone

Chocolate Sandstone is a kind of brown sandstone which is quarried in the Dholpur district of Rajasthan. There are very fine black dots present on the surface of the stone. Because of its extreme toughness and traditional appearance it is extensively used in the construction of monuments and big buildings. Another advantage of using chocolate brown is it is relatively inexpensive than most building materials. It sometimes comes in purple shade.
